Virama: Is there any way to put Disciples II on widescreen?
Thanks :)
Ralackk: Due to the world map and backgrounds being 2d I don't think its possible, searching widescreengaming forum seems to confirm that.
As for the flickering have you made sure that you don't have anything forced on in your nvidia control panel like Anti aliasing?
If you don't or that doesn't work you could try forcing v-sync on the game with the nvidia control panel.
Thank you for widescreen response. Ah well.
Regarding the AA, nup. All forced off. And I tried forcing v-sync. No luck... Any other suggestions? It's not really a flicker so much as horizontal lines through the whole screen whenever there is a spell effect on, be it casting a land spell or in the battle screen (which is far worse as many of the characters have spells blazing around them anyway - thus leading the screen to have permanent lines, whereas the land screen is fine until you cast something)
It's very weird.
P.s. Sorry for slow response, my ram stuffed up and had to take it back to the shop... Bah. They had given me kit ram with the wrong specs, no wonder.
