Title says it all.
I have a few friends who enjoy these type of games, like HoMM series.
Is it possible to play this game on one computer, with each player swapping out?

Yep it has a full hotseat mode, where each person gets their own faction just like Homm.

10.00 for a game I'll play for hours solo and with my friends, is a definite deal.

It is ! Be careful, though, the gameplay is somewhat different than the HoMM series. But I still find it very enjoyable.
