Hey, I'm sorely tempted to purchase Disciples II this weekend cause it seems right up my alley. I'm less interested in playing Disciples 1, so I was wondering if Disciples 2 works as a standalone title or will I be confused and miss out on important stuff. Thanks.

I played D2 before and I didn't feel that I was missing anything, It's a nice standalone game.
