Few questions:

1) Description says Gold adds 25 new maps and multiplayers. Which maps are actually added? Are they added to the saga, or are they just single maps (quests)?

2) I normally play only the single player campaign, and not single maps in most games. However, here I see that single maps have Chapters 1 to 22.
Do these form some sort of campaign? Is it worth playing it? Is it important from the storyline point of view? What about the other single maps?

3) When you choose the saga, you get to choose your race. Does it mean that each race has their own saga (like for example Russians and Allied in Red Alert), or is it exactly the same maps for all races.

Thanks in advance.
Those are single maps AFAIK.

Yes, for different races different stories. Devils trying to resurrect their gods, undeads wants vengeance for their dead god etc...

Would you know exactly which single maps were added by gold?

GOG description says 25. There are 21 Divine Empire maps. Chapter 1-21.

I have both a GOG copy and a CD copy of Sacred Lands, but they're both of the gold edition. However, what I do have is the official strategy guide which (like most such books) only covers the standard edition. It has some details on every quest, so what I can do is tell you which quests it lists and by power of deduction we can guess which ones might have been added by the Gold edition (assuming the guide didn't miss any.)

According to said guide, these are the ten (number specifically mentioned in the guide) standard edition quests:
Begrezen
Dragon Lands
Fire Fight
The Crown of Power
The Dark Temptress
The Plague
The Ultimate Battle
The Unholy Assault
Thug Festival
Witch Hunt

Therefore, I deduce that the following are the Gold Edition quests:
A Tutorial
Ashes to Ashes
Divine Empire (all chapters)
Highlands
Southwark
Switch Back Road
The Ancient Ruin
The Stake
Thunder Hill

This actually adds up to 29 new scenarios. Hope this helps.

As for the sagas, they're the only part that's important story-wise and every race does follow its own scenarios in the saga (although a couple are mirrors of each other, that is, same map but you're playing a different side.) The quests are just for extra play/multiplayer matches. Even Divine Empire doesn't, as far as I can tell, have much of a continuous plot.

Thank you very very much for this! You've been a huge help!

+1. Sorry I didn't mark this thread as a question, but I posted this in General Discussion too, and if you want +5 rep just post there so I mark your reply as solution
