The GOG and Steam demo don't appear to be the same thing. GOG version's Load menu doesn't show the time the save was created. Also the "Demo" mission objective is different; GOG has you surviving 4 waves and killing everything around you, while Steam's mission is endless.

I can't even download the demo right now. Maybe they are changing it to match the Steam version?
