I'm a little frustrated with this release. GOG doesn't explain how to access any of the features they've added. Not to mention my controller only works if I run the game as an administrator, which is odd and tiresome.

-They say they've added new rendering options (Windowed Mode, Vertical Synchronization Control, Gamma Correction, Integer Scaling, Anti-Aliasing, and more). How are we supposed to access those?

-They say they added a smooth game exit. Okay, how?

-Why do I need to run this as an administrator for it to accept any input? I didn't have to with GOG's Resident Evil ports.

Come on guys, communicate this stuff better, or put it in a pdf manual on the game page.

It's true, they really should provide a readme or something similar.

- there is a dxcfg.exe executable in the game folder, it allows you to adjust all those options

- press F9

- can't help here, it worked for me without running as admin
Yeah this release is honestly garbage. Be glad you even found a way to get controller support- I've tried 3 different controllers, plugged and unplugged, tried running as admin, nothing works. Even if I find a way to get the controller to work, it's false advertising on the dev's part to claim that it works seamlessly with controllers. It simply does not.

You just right click on the game in the library, go to Additional executables, and click on DirectX settings. You don't have to mess with anything in the game folder.

Both my PS4 and my Xbox 360 controller works.

My controller wouldn't work if connected AFTER launching the game, however if it's already connected before starting the game then it is detected.
As with almost all old games, you have to switch on your controller before you start the game. The AA Settings are found in the "Additional file links" (or similarly named) or the dxcfg.exe in the gamedirectory.

My controllers work nicely. XBox 360 and a Logitec F something.
I just use JoyToKey to map the controls but yeah, you shouldn't have to do that with a modern release of this.

Both games have controller hotplugging support so it should work no matter when you plug it in. I tested it out and it works. Not sure what kind of ancient controller he uses.
