If the guy who made the rebirth mode is reading this, can you please make a version of it with the Aspect Ratio unlocked?

The game is locked at 4:3 and there is no option on the config window to disable it.

It's intentionally locked to 4:3 by design, so it's working as intended. There will never be an option to stretch it.

Still I would like to be able to do it regardless.
If you must, you can stretch the image with Reshade.

Reshade? I'm not familiar with it. Can you explain it to me?

If I understand you correctly you want to achieve this result?

Yes that's it. But don't worry, I made some research on Reshade and managed to get it just right using it.

That''s one problem down. now I'm heading for the next one on the first game.

Have anyone noticed that the music on the game is offset and de-synchronized from the cutscenes on REbirth mode of Dino Crisis 1?

DC2 has this problem only on one single movie, but besides that I don't recall any other issue.

Is there a fix for this problem on DC1?

Can you please share how do you did it?

I've downloaded Reshade but I don't know which effect(s) I should choose to stretch from the 4:3 proportion.
I want to use Classic Rebirth but no way I'm gonna play it in 4:3.

Thanks.
When you install Reshade for DC2, make sure to also include fubax's package when it asks you for what other shaders you want to install. The one you're gonna need is called Aspect Ratio. Otherwise you can just grab it from here: https://github.com/Fubaxiusz/fubax-shaders/blob/master/Shaders/AspectRatio.fx

It's simple. No need to download anything and install third-party files. Go to Option, Screen, Screen Size in the game, choose your monitor resolution. By default it is set to 1600x1200x32.
For DC2 it is impossible to do it simple way. Game has prerendered static images at 4:3 ration. (240p resolution). If you want real 16:9 ratio, you must rework each image manually. (2K+ images) Redraw it to new ration. So only one way is stretching images from 4:3 to 16:9 using bilinear interpolation. This will change object size...
