Depends. I tend to have an easier (actually walk in the park) with tank controls using the arrow keys with my right hand. Using a Dpad is doable for me but I go from expert speedrunner to novice and sometimes I even have to stop to turn. Still doable for me though, and I love tank controls.
There's no way I won't use auto-aim with a Dpad though.
