Played for an hour or two last night, but when I loaded up my savegame, my ship's inventory was empty.

Just happened to me. I loaded a saved game, and I got an empty inventory and no money.

same here. don't understand if the items were moved to city's object container or if its only a bug.

saw a twitch stream that had this bug occur, it seemed to be linked to manual save from the menu screen
someone in the chat said it was a known bug and the devs are possibly working on it

though it wouldnt hurt to contact gog support and politely mention the bug
hopefully we will get a patch soon

Same bug occured to me too after a manual safe. I had to reload an older one.

Hi folks! Dev from Arachnid here: we are still pulling our hair out over this bug. Due to the tiny active team-size and our limited resources, we are having one hell of a time trying to recreate this bug on our machines. We cant possibly convey how much we appreciate your patience while we iron it out and get our next patch set up. We are currently working with our Steam community to get it sorted, hang tight!

your game is great from what i have played through so far

Started playing this game 1h ago and noticed the bug at my first death. If it helps, I have an issue with all my saves, all the time :
- started a new game
- got a first crewmember for 963 gold. Manual save : still 2000 gold, 1 air tank and 48 scraps. Autosave : same thing.
- opened the first gate, and got a few things when exploring the rooms. Manual save : still 2000 gold, 1 air tank and 48 scraps.
- restarted using only autosaves, got to the second gate to have an autosave with items : still 2000 gold, 1 air tank and 48 scraps.

So 3 months later and no news about this? This basically makes it impossible to play the game. Is there any news on progress to a fix?

i just started playing this, played for maybe 4h and eeevery save i had done had its inventory wiped.

Based on the steam forums, the dev seems to have sailed the ship to other projects and let Diluvion leak and sink on its own. Ive bought this so long ago that wont ask for cashback, but youd imagine working game is the bare minimum for whatever is being sold.
