Hello,

i m thinking about buying this game but theres one question i would like to have solved first: can you get big ships like the atlantica and the huron??

did look for an answer at the internet but there it seems it was a backer exclusive...is it still just available for backers or just the special version of it?

The more ships get upgraded the bigger they get.
At upgrade 3 they are about as big as a Huron. But im not sure if there is an upgrade beyond upgrade 3.
Reason bieng thats how long i am into the game.

jeah i know there are 3 basic boats that are upgradeable 2 times...but there were also a backer huron and a backer atlantica...the question is, if normal players can get the normal huron and atlantica versions or i they are backer ships in general

Fleet edition Manta looks like Huron in my opinion.

difficult decision, level 3 manta or level 3 saber.

i went saber, its such a beast & is fast too.

although i like the look of the manta, not to mention its capacity.

upgrades are a little odd. had to swap lvl 2 manta, to lvl 2 deringer, then i could get the lvl 3 manta / saber.

I have the problem, that the collapse depth of level 3 Manta is "only" -1300m compared to the -2000m of the regular level 3 ships (the 3 upgradable ones). Now with -1300 you don't get anywhere interesting at the abyssal trench... and I fear, I cannot even progress in the main story with the manta, because the collapse depth is too small for the places I have to go :(

A guy in another thread said this is just a display bug - they actually share the highest collapse depth of your other vessels.

I'll test it out later tonight with my Level 3 Derringer (forgot what it's called now).

As I wrote in the other thread, this display issue should already be fixed. I will test this also to be 100% sure about it.
