As the topic is saying, something screwed up.
Already repaired/reinstalled the game multiple times with/out enabled antivirus/admin rights/ compatibility mode.
But nope, dared to update my installation on my desktop too and there its the same problem.
No posts in this topic were marked as the solution yet. If you can help, add your reply

Same problem here, 1.17 defect! Rollback to 1.16.2.

Exactly the same issue here.
Unable to install since 1.17 (corrupt files) and save lost.

After new installation the problem still exists. :-(

Edit: Next try fixed the problem! Now it runs in 1.17!

Indeed !
I was able able to play yesterday, and the save was ok.
But I didn't notice the install was unproperly done.
Btw today I still have "Corrupt game" in GoG panel and moreover unable to play it again.
