I have question concerning this new gog version. I remember playing the diggles some years ago and loved it, we had the orgininal game with czech translation. But it was almost impossible to finish the game, since after some time, the diggles stopped working when assigned to buildings, and just died of hunger since there was nobody willing to cook. I know that there was some workaround (or maybe mod), which I have found out later, but I wasn't able to play anymore because the game stopped working on the newer operation system.

So can anybody say, if the AI is improved now? I would love to play the game again, but I am afraid that it will end in the same disappoitment.

Thanks :)

Hi, i have played for +-4hours and i am in the first world. I can say only this : dwarves are lazy bastards, but they cook the food :D

They are still problem with founding jobs, but it was always i think.

If you found that mod, about which you wrote, so pls link it in this thread :)
Thanks.

Unfortunatelly the problem was at the later game, probably in the third world. And probably it was connected to the size of population/number of buildings. I don't remember it too much. The last time I tried to run the game would be 10 or 12 years ago. I just remember, that there was some ini file accessible in the directory of the game, which was in german, so it was hard to work with, and there was something to repair.
I have not played this version but being the storefront says that its untouched version of game besides making it run on modern systems, I expect it to be the same increasingly breaking hell it was before.

Which, man I loved this game back in the day, tried so many times to beat it despite how increasingly crushingly difficult and tedious it got. But my longest run(world 3 I think?) came to an end when half my wiggles ended up getting sucked into an alternative dimensional void where they slowly starved to death one after another.(still don't know what happened, I assume they glitched through the world or something) This was about 10 years ago, so long after game became obscure, I remember making a forum post on the one existing Wiggles Forum asking for help, probably still there on front page being how dead this whole game was.

Don't play this if you want a bug-free functional adventure, play it if you want the elder gods to knock on your doorstep and sing sweet promises of insanity.

you could tweak some rates of hunger/sleep/mood within the game files to make ur clan more productive, also adjust the number of products from eg making food

iirc yes you could only add a few 2-3 products to queues otherwise they get lost but, thats a problem, the new devs may could work on if they get some feedback about

to the "glitch" where half of ur clan vanished...that's part of the storyline, better save some times at the crystal world and be prepared when that happens
