Okay. I'm trying to put the turtle skeleton together to plant the explosive inside and kill the sea creature. After losing my patience with the bones I finally looked up the solution to how to piece the skeleton together properly. However, the skeleton is still just called "loose bones" and I can't use the bomb with the skeleton which indicates that I have done something wrong.

At first I thought I put the bones in the wrong order but I compared several screenshots and they seem to be right. Then I read in another walkthrough that you can use the fossil one screen over as a reference, so I thought this was one of those "puzzle doesn't work because the character doesn't know something" type deals. But I looked at the fossil, used the examine item (both in close-up and away), went back and still nothing.

When I use the life crystals, the turtle gets up, screams and then melts again. Is there something I've forgotten to do?

Alright. I succeeded. My suspicion is that I simply had the creature's neck bones upside-down (it's really hard to tell since they seem to fit perfectly either way).

I guess this is helpful if there are other clueless dingbats like myself out there. =P
