Short version: glitchy graphics, installed xtended mod as advertised in other threads, unable to play the "story mode" since the game shows me a red screen with a disc and "press ALT-F4"

Great, uh?
Another game that doesn't work and forces me to search the internet in order to get it playble.

EDIT: I have reinstalled the game, the colours are ****ed up, and clicked Quest > DBTS
Still got the disc + Alt-F4 screen.... Seriously? I need a CD in order to play it? RIDICOLOUS

Please let us know if you're launching the game from the Start Menu / Desktop shortcut, or directly from the .exe file. Also, is your computer equipped with a CD/DVD/BD drive?

Hi,

Could you please write to our Support department concerning this issue? We'll do what we can to help you out with this game. PLease make sure to give as much detail about this problem and attach your DxDiag file to the email. The more info we get the better the chance that we can help you out :D

Thanks :D

(sorry for not replying earlier but we were away for a bit due to these holidays :D we're back in full force, however :D)
I've finally managed to get the game working, i had to set every exe in the game's folder to service pack 2 compatibility (both the original and the extended version);
then i tried all kinds of different configurations until i found the right one for both the graphics issues and the insert CD-rom issue.

I don't know exactly why but it's working now.

In response the the other comment: yes i have a dvd drive
Wait... you have a space marine as your avatar, but no 40k games are available. Are you teasing me D:
