Someone should set up a group just for DTBS players. We can have lots of battles and show
off our control skills :P.

And it's a great substitute for the old and tedious method on Hamachi. Just join my group instead :P. Pants and I had a few battles and they worked flawlessly. I went against him with Mace Enric vs Sword Enric. 15-0 for me :). Not to say that you suck, Pants, you fought well and I was actually having an adrenaline rush.

He really kicked bimmy-butt on an Ogre vs Ogre duel on the Pit of Ennvi :O.

The third match was two Hammer dwarves. We kept running after each other and fighting Holy-grail like battles. We even said "It's only a flesh wound." I got in a few wins after having an arm and a leg cut off, but he also cut off my hammer arm at one point, so I tried to hit him with my other arm :P. At the last part, he cut off both my arms and I led him on a chase.

On the last part, we played a 2-player co-op. The farthest we got was the part with the ogre and the dwarf. There was a pretty fine display of teamwork and we covered for each other when it counted. Unfortunately, the ogre smacked me too many times and I died. Pants died soon after.

all in all, we had a lot of fun, and Pants even has a server on teamspeak if you guys want to voice chat. Just ask him for the IP.

So hey, whenever you guys feel like coming to our server for some multiplayer fun, we'll be waiting. :)

I'll play too! I suck at the game, but there is only one way to get better. Logged into the Hamachi thing with no problems, will have to try it out eventually.

What do i do now?
How does it work?

Someone will host a game and you can find out who is by going into the chat in hamachi. Alternatively, you can ask if someone can set one up.

1. Once someone hosts a game you click "arena" at the main menu of DIe by the Sword,
2. choose your character
3. and then click "multiplay".
4. Next choose "internet tcp/ip connection for direct play" and then
5. type in the host's hamachi ip address into the box
6. and click "okay".
7. You will then see the name of their game and click on it to join. (It might not show up immediately so maybe wait ten seconds).

Their hamachi ip address can be found next to the host's username in the hamachi window (and if I recall correctly also beneath their username in the chat box).

If your internet is good enough you can host a game yourself. Follow the same steps above, but when entering an ip address leave it empty and click "okay". A new screen will pop up, click "host new game". A different screen will ask you what you want to name it. Give your game a name and click "okay". Your game is now waiting for people to join. Announce it on hamachi chat and people will connect to your game with your hamachi ip address. Once they're all in and everybody clicks enter arena the game should start.

I've done a couple of LAN games with my brothers sense that post and it sounds like a similar process.
I think you can also leave the IP search bar blank and it will do a search.

The network "Die By The Sword players" was overflowed and at present nobody watches it. To come there it is not possible.
