So, i unearthed the relic called Diablo 1, from my BattleChest. Installed normally, updated from B.net and logged in to play. But i get an error message: "Your internet connection is very slow (not true), or it cannot process UDP packs from port 6112 and so, you cannot play games, only chat".

Before i proceed to buy GOG's DIablo, i need to know, if that product is functional in multiplayer. Did others encounter that specific issue? And if yes, how can it be solved?

Same problem with GOG's Diablo. Solution? Port forwarding, VPN, change ISP.

Thanks a lot, buddy! Bless you!!!
Can anyone tell me if my port forwarding is configured correctly? I'd like to rule that out as the issue i'm having. Here is what happens EVERY TIME I launch the game
1. I go to Multiplayer
2. I get bad connection/UDP 6112 error
3. I go back to top level menu
4. I go to Multiplayer again
5. This time, NO ERROR
6. I am able to create and join Battle.net games, but my connection never shows more than 1 green bar, nor does anyone else appear as more than one green bar.

I am thinking that the port should be an all or nothing thing, and as long as I'm getting through, my port stuff is fine, although I would still be baffled why I get the error the first time.

Attached is what i see for port forward rules in my router.

I have disabled Windows Firewall and above still always happens.

Thanks

You can use this website to test port forwarding.
