says i need to update it does it then says it doesnt need to be run and closes the game i have the patch downloaded tho

I'm having the same issue. My retail copy of Diablo at least lets me into Battle.net, but I can't play games for some reason. This one just won't update at all, thinking I need a CD. I even tried putting my CD in thinking okay maybe it's just a slight oversight, but nope it has a new error message that follows that one.

Does it or does it not support Battle.net play right now?
