I'm using the Barbarian, and I found the Doombringer sword in the Caves just laying on the ground. Got it, identified it but when I equipped it, not only did it turn red, but three other items I had equipped all turned red as well and were unable to be used until I took off the Doombringer, even though I exceeded the requirements to wear them.
