pclasbey: This is probably gonna seem dumb, but ive never really done anything with hellfire before, so I'm not really sure how to actually launch it. I own diablo and hellfire on gog, and it says its installed. when I click play and launch it, the little window pops up that says diablo and diablo classic. I have played through diablo 3 times now, and hellfire wasnt evident in my playthroughs. Im not sure if hellfire is only included if I play it through on diablo classic or not. Honestly I have no idea how to get hellfire to launch, I just know gog says its installed and every time I play, lester the farmer is never in the game for me to experience it. I can answer any questions, but I figured the forum would be a better place to get an answer for this. Thanks in advance for any help.
hohiro: Do you hav automatic updates disabled in Galaxy (I assume you start it with Galaxy)? Maybe you still have the old version installed which didnt have Helffire bundled with it.
I do start it with galaxy. when I click start, it pulls up the small diablo box on my screen to click diablo and run the game. I just checked and yes automatic updates is turned on.
JamesBond007: If Hellfire is absent in the launch window, then your version of Diablo appears to be outdated. This might be true, because Diablo on GOG was originally released without Hellfire (the expansion was released three months later).
Just download the game again. If you install the newest version, then Hellfire will be available in the launcher.
I did buy diablo when it was first released, and then I downloaded hellfire automatically when it was released months later, so I will try to redownload the game. thanks
