I`m playing as a warrior. I was in the level 7 of the dungeon fighing with those weird gray archer goats . The battle was a fucking mess and after i killed all the enemies i opened my inventory and noticed i had lost gold. I had around 15.0000. I stayed with 8,500 gold. Did that happened with someone else? i am using the hellfire expansion

There is no need to YELL in your subject.

Did you happen to receive the on-screen shrine-like message Give and you shall receive? The reported problem sounds like you triggered a Mendicant's Shrine, which converts half your gold into experience (Jarulf's Guide, page 149). If you were in catacombs and sloppy with your fighting, you might have activated a Goat Shrine, which is a randomly chosen Shrine and can act as a Mendicant's Shrine (among many other possibilities, some of them far worse). Consider yourself lucky, and stay away from Goat Shrines (and Cauldrons). Some of their effects are permanent and destructive (notably, rolling a Fascinating, Ornate, or Sacred shrine), so you should never activate them with a character you plan on keeping.

ahhhhhh i remember that! i interacted with the Mendicant´s shrine during the battle. Thanks for explaining!
