When attempting to run the game after the splash screen I get this error, and crash. If I change to a different default sound device in Windows the game runs.
Error message reads
Direc sound error (C:\Src\Diablo\Source\SOUND.CPP:261)
The parameter is incorrect.
UPDATE
Completely uninstalling sound device drivers, reboot and reinstall drivers solved the issue.
