My steps to attempt to solve:
- Ran another program that checks for attempted port openings while running a multiplayer game. Maybe Diablo was trying to use other ports. It is (temporary ones), and even trying to add those to the exceptions. Didn't work.
- Maybe my firewall is straight up blocking the connection (like when windows defender asks you permission for the app to connect to the internet). Diablo classic however cannot minimize, but there's no window of any sort left open when I exit. SO I disabled both my windows defender and router firewall entirely. Still same problem.
- Changed router configuration to IPv4. Nothing.
- As others have tried, I made a game in Direct Connection, Modem, and Local Area Network, then retried Battle Net. Still nothing.
- REselected my Gateway (even though there's only global) as this worked for someone. Still nothing.
What am I to do in order to play on Bnet?
