Port Forwarding was successful, I no longer get a warning message about my port being closed. However, now after being stuck at "connecting to fastest server" for about 10 seconds, it tells me that I have no internet connection.

My steps to attempt to solve:

- Ran another program that checks for attempted port openings while running a multiplayer game. Maybe Diablo was trying to use other ports. It is (temporary ones), and even trying to add those to the exceptions. Didn't work.

- Maybe my firewall is straight up blocking the connection (like when windows defender asks you permission for the app to connect to the internet). Diablo classic however cannot minimize, but there's no window of any sort left open when I exit. SO I disabled both my windows defender and router firewall entirely. Still same problem.

- Changed router configuration to IPv4. Nothing.

- As others have tried, I made a game in Direct Connection, Modem, and Local Area Network, then retried Battle Net. Still nothing.

- REselected my Gateway (even though there's only global) as this worked for someone. Still nothing.

What am I to do in order to play on Bnet?

I'd suggest contacting the official Battle.net support since it's directly related to the Battle.net functionality.
SOLVED (I'm unable to mark my own post as a solution. Forum moderator please assist).

Initial portforward didn't work, so I added an exception in the router firewall for application name: Diablo port 6112-6119. This worked in getting rid of the 6112 UDP port error message. However the above problem came to fruition.

What worked:

The initial portforward involved putting in an ip address. I made my ip address to be static, using the same address used in the inital portforward. This I believe caused the portforward itself to work, because....

I then removed the exception I placed in the router firewall. This now allowed me to connect with full access to create and join games.

Hope this helps others whom have had similar issues.

I know you solved the problem but for anyone else that is reading:

Some times you have to do all of the above and also reconnect multiple times to battle.net . If you get the message about the port and you get into the chat, just exit battle.net go back to the main menu and retry. This might take a few times but it could help solve the problem for you.
