QWEEDDYZ: UPD:
I mean. If some game not work - first it should be solved. For game as it is. There is no "broken games", it Apple\Microsoft who broke compatibility (Ms often, Apple big compatibility lack is recent only - with removing x32(else) support for x64-only current MacOS 11). Microsoft do it with some "security updates" that is not security of course.
(EVERY game both here on GOG and on Steam have a lot of "not working at all!!!111" false reviews)
So using remakes solve problems and not at same time. Remake\-mod - completely differ game. Of course it can work if game itself not - they not related. And that make that not a solution for not working game. Workaround maybe, but not solution\fix.
Again, first off - DevilutionX is optional thing. Not a true fix for something broken(or not) in the game. Suggest that... mmm... carefully.
There is more easy way to fix something - ddraw wrappers (dege Voodoo, Narzoul or they forks). GOG bundle some games with own wrappers. Or DxWnd. Or enable\disable some compatibility things in exe proeprtion - GOG set full-screen optimization disable for every game - needed or not. On every OS, even with fact that this option work very different on Win7\8\10 and later some build updates of Win10.

Google Translate make it worse, ru->en->pl...
Forget it. Just admit that you were a little hasty with the remake advice. First - GOG version installation. And play a bit to remember how it looks back then. Later - remakes with widescreen support /etc.
LUIS_PALADINO
GOG Diablo DX version looks almost same as "Classic" labeled. Wrapping widescreen lead to same thing as do it by video driver and make screen wrong proportions and a little blured. So ratio should be keep aspect ratio in video driver and in DXCFG.exe - as set by default - and that make screen looks same as Classic... still a little bit better with wrapping some filtration by last two options in DXCFG.
If you want really new experience and visual of Diablo1 - try remake-mods. As i remember there is some with zoom -in/-out wrapping. And ofc resolution+widescreen.
...
But keep in mind - not every widescreen or high res is really widescreen or high res. Without zoom scale wrapping most remakes\mods\widescreen hacks for any game just zoomed image. Its not true widescreen.
Even hacks by ThirteenAG is not true widescreen. At least, for GTA2. It make looks image just like by video driver fullscreen stretch wrapping - with screen artifacts (vertical lines on asphalt).
And sometimes for some games same wrong proportions and blured as just by video driver. Especially if this is not widescreen hack but only resolution hack. E.g For Need for Speed Most Wanted res hack (exe file) just change resolution. And that lead to wrong UI\proportions and blured image. ThirteenAG hack fix that maybe (dll+ini without exe file - differ solutions completely).
Example of NOT-widescreen solution
http://i.ibb.co/frgmVBn/3200x2400.jpg Same for Heores3HD. Although H3HD is now better scale UI and map - it still zoom image.
So Disciples (or else wrappers from Verok) is not just fix - but mod. Optional. Very cool thing with all that features - and yet it is not original game.
Workaround for something, but not true solution\fix. Even if Verok is almost same as original game and same exe files - it not compatible in multiplayer with differ versions of GLwrapper\native game.
How about you play devilutionx yourself and see it's exactly the same as the original? Every improvement can be turned on/off in the config except obvious bugfixes like uniques morphing into potions in new game / monster stats wrapping around / block bonus being present only in first game etc.
I'm fully aware what I mean when I say devilutionx is the way diablo should be played in 2021
