I can't figure out how to save my game in the mod. I googled with no luck except people sharing saves?

Not all surprising you haven't figured out how to save ... no one else has either ... nor can you ... nor is it necessary ... the game saves continously.

Not mine If I quit the game I come back and have to re create a character and start from scratch. unless theres away I dont know of to blow by the char. creation screen. no continue button or anything like that.
When I installed I just copied diabloq or whatever to the belzebub folder. and its been this way.
I reinstalled now it works?

Run belzebub.exe as Administrator. This fixed the problem for me.
