I wonder if stores restock their inventories, and if so, what is the "trigger"?

I'm pretty sure to have bought a data cube for skill points some time ago, now I visited the 3 shops having those again, and bought all 3, and they now don't seem to be replenished.

The merchants have plenty of other things, though, especially the AR consumable items (data shields), and more of those than the "Wikia" page says. I never sold those to them, so I assume there must be some mechanism that added more from time to time.

I've got plenty of money now, so I thought I'd "buy skill updates" via data cubes and experience boosting items.
