Everytime I start the game, it complains about this "glide2x" doohickey not working. As a result, I'm stuck in windowed mode. The game is not unplayable because of this, but it still annoys me a bit. I have already tried reinstaling the program, but that was a no-go too. Is anyone else having this problem? If so, did you fix it, and how did you fix it. Thanks for any help!

You've chosen the 3dfx renderer.

Do the following:
1. Run the Deus Ex GOTY [Safe Mode] shortcut in the Start screen/Start menu.
2. Choose Change your 3D video device.
3. Choose Direct3D Support.
4. Continue and run the game (Next, Next, Next, Run).

The game should now start without the error. If it still starts in windowed mode switch to fullscreen mode with Alt+Enter.

Danke! It worked great! Ironically, the screen's actually bigger when I go to windowed mode and maximize it. But thank you all the same.
