I just started deus ex with shifter and new vision. When I aim at someone, the reticule turns red several inches away from the enemy. Basically, if I want to line up a headshot, I have to aim a few inches away from their head. Shooting the empty space to the side of them still hits them, which makes me think its a hitbox problem. Any way to fix this?

I don't use Shifter myself, but I'd just try uninstalling and reinstalling it and see if that helps. Also make sure your mods aren't conflicting with each other
Your aim actually wanders around a bit within the confines of the reticule. A laser mod will show you exactly where it is. (In vanilla Deus Ex, the laser mod gives you 100% accuracy at all times.)
