I am really enjoying Deus Ex, except for all the bugs I'm encountering. Check out the list:
Sometimes when I start the game, the audio is filled with static. Not all the time, just sometimes, and when it does it it will do it two or three times in a row, I just have to keep exiting and restarting until it finally does it the way it's supposed to.
Ladder fizziks. Every game that has ladders has a problem with ladders. Up isn't much of a problem, down...yeah. Get ready for the sudden stop.
Water: you can get in, but you can't get out. Your character wants to do push ups on the side of whatever things you';re trying to use to climb out of the water. Dunk, splash, gasp, splash, hey guards, here I am! Of course, who wouldn't want to do that instead of just getting out of the water?
Ye Olde Crawl: Sometimes, again not all the time, when I crouch, my character decides to keep his awesome crouching movement speed AFTER standing back up. Nothing makes this go away except reloading.
At least one, more often two or three, of these problems manifests every time I play the game. Every. Single. Time. Any ideas on how to end this crap so I can enjoy the game as the makers surely intended?
Oh, Windows 7 64 bit, if that helps.
Thanks!
