Switching to open gl fixes the problem at least for me. Probably could have been avoided all together if they used kentie's launcher.
Honestly this mod has given me more problems than it should. Running it in galaxy was just awkward. Frame rate was awful until I turned off the weather effects which wasn't all that impressive tbh. Mouse acceleration was the one that really got too me though as it made the game unplayable. Problem was made worse when no one seemed to have a simple solution, and the devs didn't even seem to understand what mouse acceleration looked like.
If revision wasn't so fascinating I probably would've just gave up. The fact that a mod gets it's own page and achievements just seems so weird. There was even a time when it was only available on steam leaving physical and gog owners with little choice except to repurchase the game. Guess over time I just told myself I have to play at least once just to see what it's like and the sale seemed like a good time to do it.
