So I just read on another thread that a patch in Deus Ex gave some extra content.

I don't want to derail that one any more, but I'm curious, what extra content was actually added?

The post makes no sense. Maybe the poster in the link assumes "Game of the year edition" is some kind of expansion. It was not. It was just an official patch that among many small bug fixes also included an unremarkable team vs team multiplayer mode.
