This error is making me angry. I just downloaded and installed.
If your game won't work on windows 7 you should say so.

Also why is it so small. I'm not going to play a game that is only 250x250 ..-rme-

I've attached the error message.
Please advise.

Thank you

What 3D video device did you select when you installed? If you chose 3dfx Glide for Windows, try choosing Direct3D Support or OpenGL Support instead (to change it, go to Settings > Display > Rendering Device).

I did not choose anything. I got the error and shut it down. This is a two month old computer.

I will try as you say. Thank you. I will post back, whatever happens.

Was there supposed to be something that asked me when I installed?
Nothing did and when the download finished I had to go hunt for the installation exe.

GOG really really really really needs to be MUCH clearer on their downloads/installations and give actual instructions.

I've just installed my GOG version of Deus Ex to see what options it gives, and I got the setup screen in the attached screenshot. Try reinstalling the game to see if it gives you the option to select the video device.

No I did not get that screen. I did get a message while trying to launch from the installer that said it could not find engine.dll

This just might be my last purchase from GOG. This is really sloppy.

Changing the settings seems to have me on the right road. The mouse seems way too sensitive and there seems to be no way to fix that.

We shall see how it goes when I play now after restarting.
