I am not familiar with the game, and this seems to be Steam-only released as well, but anyway what are your thoughts on this?

* note: I'm not familiar as in "I'm not familiar with Deus Ex: The Fall", but I have played the original Deus Ex: GotY, Deus Ex: Invisible War, and know enough of Deus Ex: Human Revolution and its DLCs.

Maybe if it was being released by GOG I would be interested. I would rather buy a game here than give steam a penny.
I think I'll pass. It just seems the "dumbed down" clone of DE:HR to me: watching some screenshots, it would be hard to distinguish the two, plus character progression seems exactly the same. Considering also the fact that it was a game for android, I'm worried it could be a bit too "simple" for me to appreciate. Besides, I don't like Square-Enix's concept of "multimedial" worlds in games (this one is based on a novel, if I'm not mistaken) and loathe Steam with all my energies, so there is really no reason for me to buy it.
I really don't know what to think.
The fact that this was a mobile game makes me nervous. If Eidos Montreal is working on the PC version, that makes me feel a little better. Human Revolution and Thief were both very PC-friendly. But I'm not sure if EM is doing it or if someone else is.

What makes me more nervous is Square Enix. They burned their loyal customers pretty bad with the Director's Cut. They gave loyal customers a discount, but it really should have been a free upgrade.

In the end, I'm a Deus Ex freak. I'll probably buy this during the summer sale. Maybe I'll get a few hours of enjoyment.

I have the game on my iPad, and it is a god game. My problems with it were that it was laughably short (it winded you for an awesome story, then ended) and that is was supremely easy to max out on ALL augmentations.

I will not get it for PC, but I encourage those who don't have a tablet to try it out, once it goes on sale for about 5$. It's good, but not 10$ good.
The pre-purchase includes the original Deus Ex so The Fall is essentially bundled with an excellent game for a mere $3 more. If you already have Deus Ex on your Steam account it's added to the inventory as a Steam gift item so nothing is lost or wasted.
I'm a big fan of Deus Ex, so I'll have to try it and see what its like. My expectations aren't terribly high, though.

Does anybody know if it'll feature properly re-bindable keys? I saw this image and it worried me that it'll just have preset controls.
