I have DE V2 installed through Kenti's launcher.

I notice that tiles are inconsistently lit up when I leave the area around them. What is going on?
Any way to deal with this? The last time I used Kenti's launcher I did not notice any problems like this.
Edit: The problem does not manifest when I switch to 16:10 ratio. The problem with 16:10 is that everything is slightly off centre. For reference, I'm working with 16:9.

Can you take a screenshot to show us just what you mean?

Without a screenshot to confirm, my best guess is issues with your graphics renderer. Have you changed that?

Is there a procedure for taking screenshots? Printscreen won't let me copy the picture to paint.

Edit: On top of not being able to take a screenshot, I can't seem to replicate this issue. 16:9 runs slower than 16:10, but 16:10 is centered ever so slightly lower.

Double Edit: Turns out it is the brightness settings.

For the record, I am using OpenGL and I am trying to turn the brightness down because I think it looks too washed out.

Triple Double Edit: The issue has to do with changing the brightness settings in the middle of a game. If I modify them, then exit, load back in, the issue is resolved and it seems to keep whatever brightness settings I stick with.

Enter the command sshot into the console.

Since the thread is about lighting issues, I have run into this problem with strobing lights.
The screenshot unfortunately does not display the screen strobing that I see.
It looks to be a framerate issue.
Edit: It seems that the forum does not want me to attach images. The crux of the posted image is that when a single frame screenshot is made, there is nothing remarkable about it. (this is a separate lighting problem).

Maybe make a video of the problem with Fraps or XSplit? If you have (or can make) an account on Twitch.tv, XSplit can livestream the video to your account there.
