Hello here,

I just bought the game and I wanted to test it.

But everytime I try to launch it, I have a Windows error: "Deus Ex has encountered a problem", and a return on desktop.

After a few tests, it seems that the fullscreen was the problem. So I launched DX in safe, windowed mode, but after a few second I wasn't able to move in the menus.



I will provide all the informations needed to solve my problem.

Try Kentie's patched launcher, it worked for some people with a similar configuration.

To use it your system has to have the Visual C++ 2012 runtimes (x86) installed.

every time i run it it wont respond, when i shut my sound drivers off it runs perfectly though, can someone please help me

have you tried replacing the DeusEx.exe file in game directory with the DeusEXE launcher? If you have, run it and click Configure. Disable "Use DirectSound"
