I have recently bought DXIW on GOG. I play it on Mac OS 10.9.5 via Wineskin Winery, the game runs very well but I have sound/dialogue issues.

Actually, when I encounter random people or random situations (I mean no script) ; people or robots that should talk, they just don't.
As I play with subtitles and I know the game, I know that I should hear their voice, but there is no sound.

Do you have any idea of what it could be and of course how to fix it?

Installing the native dsound library via winetricks enabled all missing sounds for me. Although there always was a noticable latency with these new sounds.

However, I tried it more than a year ago on a Mac Mini. Sound might not lag with a newer wrapper and a faster Mac with dedicated GPU.
