Hello !
I have the boxed version of DX:IW and it doesn't work on my vista computer (which is the only one i have powerful enough to make it run smoothly).
My question is simple: does GoG version work on vista and if it doesn't on my comp what should i do if i buy it ?

Depends what issue you're having. If the game is hanging while loading areas (which is the problem I had with the Steam version on Win7) then you're likely to still have that problem with the GOG version.

Not sure what was the issue, i think it might have been the loadings.
I wanted to try again but it seems my disc is damaged, tried the demo and it works though.
Not sure i wanna pay 9.99$ to not be able to play it...oh well

I'm running it in W8x64 so i would venture a guess it would work in vista...
