So I was not up for this, been play easy CoD and other casual FPS games.
I've made it all the way up the liberty...platform and I ran out of crossbow bolts, Charges on my stun gun, and I dont want to go lethal and use my gun and knife. (MGS 4 life)

All I have is a baton, am I screwed?
its takes like 3 hits to kill one guard and they kill me with their guns so fast.

Any tips?

Also is there a mod to change loading a save to load last save with a Click when you die?
With the baton you can instantly KO them if you hit them from behind.

But be careful you have to hit very accurately. So better do a lot of quicksaves (Numpad +; quickload with Numpad /) that will make the game easier.
I'm not aware of a mod for loading saves, but the game comes with quicksave and quickload hotkeys. Quicksave often and learn to quickload. It's quick and easy.

You can take someone out with only one tranquiliser dart or two charges on the stun gun. You can take out most enemies on Liberty Island with the baton from behind; you may need to upgrade your low-tech skill to do enough damage. Gas grenades allow you to run past enemies if you don't mind taking damage. The baton works well with gas grenades and pepper spray.

another thing to consider is that if you miss with the crossbow you can recover the bolt by finding where it hit ground or wal
What you really need to do is experiment with crouch-walking around everywhere. Enemies can not see very far and have about 180 degree vision. Try it on a little, get a feel for how to stay out of sight. It is not realistic in the least, you may be surprised with how easy it is.

If you really need to knock someone out in a fight, the cattle prod is the best bet. If the enemy is not yet alerted to your presence, a baton strike over the back will knock them out instantly. Aim for center mass, you need a clean hit. If you aim for the head you will most likely not get a good hit.

In the long run I do not recommed going 100% non-lethal. Mix it up a little, allow yourself some progress without having to save scum your way through sections of the game.
another tip is even if you get spotted or only damage an enemy
you can run and hide somewhere and eentually they will lose interest in trying to find you and yo have an easy target while they walk back to their normal spot/patrol area
If you're having difficulty getting into the flow of the game, I would recommend switching to a lethal run. I hear a lot of people call Deus a "stealth game" but that's only because you have to be undetected to get the 12X damage bonus from rear attacks that makes the stun baton useful. If you don't mind using your pistol, the game becomes faster and more straightforward. Once you get a feel for how the game plays, you can challenge yourself to a non-lethal run.

Also make sure that you're using your lean keys to peek around corners. I think they're Q and E by default. A good tactic for any ranged weapon is to find cover and then stand still while you wait for your aiming reticle to contract. Once it has, use a lean key to pop out and fire at your opponents. That will maximize your accuracy, saving your ammunition while minimizing your chance of taking damage. Don't try to run-and-gun until you have maxed out the relevant weapon skill or applied lots of aiming mods.

If you want to continue with a non-lethal run, the pepper spray bottle is useful for making frontal attacks. Aim at your enemy as above and then squirt the pepper spray, don't click and hold. It takes a second for the AI to react but once they do, you can run out of cover behind them and finish them off with the shock prod. A fire extinguisher can substitute if you don't have pepper spray available.

Additionally, for the non-lethal weapons, the tranquilizer gun seems to have more effect if you aim to the head.

this is true headshots have the tranq effect happen imediately,
other hit locations will take time before they get knocked out
Another thing to consider is that you don't have to kill/stun every enemy in the game. I finished my first run-through in 15 years recently, and I had to wean myself off the habit of interacting with every enemy I saw. It's OK to just sneak past enemies and leave them alone. Save the encounters for when they are only necessary.

Also, don't forget to check out the "hidden" areas for extra ammo and supplies. You can also pick up a few gas grenades at the top of the statue if you are careful.
Yeah, you don't have to kill/stun everybody. But if you're at a point you need to take care of someone - I think at some point while you are climbing Liberty there should be a few gas booby-traps. You can pick them up, if you\re carful. That's my tactic - in groups of >=3 I throw gas grenade, and then one tranq. bolt from crossbow to everyone. They will still recovering from the gas effect, while taking damage from tranq. And you don't have to aim really hard when they are still. :)
i always wipe out enemies that carry stuff i want (ammo, etc). You'll run into enemies that carry junk that you don't need (the 234th combat knife) so you can skip them if you want, but usually i have plenty of ammo, especially pistol ammo, to take out anyone i want. I might actually get lucky with a pistol headshot or 2.
