I just got this game today and started it up without a problem, however, when I started the training the colors of the environments was very muddy and didn't match up to screenshots and gameplay videos I had looked up. I'm running Windows 7 so I tinkered around with the compatibility settings and ran it as administrator to see if that corrected the color issues but it didn't. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how would I go about fixing it? Thanks.

Is the whole game kind of dim? If so, try turning up the gamma correction.
Sounds like you're in 16-bit mode. Go to the graphics settings and switch it to 32-bit. That should do the trick.
As Turjake has said, it sounds like you are in 16-bit colour mode. The page at the link below (which is actually the site for Kentie's Deus Ex launcher which many have mentioned in these forums) shows a comparison between 16 and 32 bit colour and he also describes the 16-bit colour as muddy. It's about halfway down the page.

Thanks! I was accidentally running the Safe Mode shortcut which didn't save the color settings change which is why I kept running into it.

No problem. Enjoy the game!
What if when we change it to 32 bit the game just won't boot up?

What if when we change it to 32 bit the booting up the game just leads to a black screen, and the game never loads.
