I purchased this when it first came out. A while ago for sure.
I did not know how it would play on my system:

DELL XPS 720
MSI Radeon R6790 Lightning
2GB Video Ram
4GB Main Ram
DELL 24inch HD LCD

The detail, sharpness and colors in the game are great!
The Direct3D reminds me of when I played the old Voodoo cards with GLIDE.
Game works great with few if any artifacts. Have not yet BSOD'd or froze up yet.
Very good job to GOG.
Now if they would just get at least Freelancer on the site!
I also have Dark Star 1 and it runs great.

Keep them coming.
OOPS.
It is an R6970 Lightning.
Running on VISTA Home Premium 32-bit.

Sorry bout that.

Blast it all, one more thing,

The sound does get really gritty every now and then for some reason,
but I reload the game and it runs fine.

i think Freelancer would be problematic, since it was published by Microsoft Game Studios; if it was made available anywhere, it'd probably be on Games for Windows Live.
Right. I forgot about that. And that is why it is not, in fact, on GOG by now.
To bad.
There are indeed some points in the game where sound issues can cause crashes--that said there aren't very many of those points and saving often can help resolve that problem.
