Good read indeed.
I would love to see an official remake of Deus Ex some day; until then, I'll be content with the various upgrades the community does.

My fear is if they do a remake itll be "modernized". Did they original even have health regen? I know there was a heath aug, but that actually used power. Was there even any point in adding a cover system? Many people got through the original just fine without it. Then you have the drab color palette and lazy boss fights.
It just seemed like HR was trying to copy DE instead of doing anything new, much like Fallout 3.
I dont mind things changing, but let's no take 50 steps back by adding useless features.
