Hey, guys. I tried to Google for a solution but I have not found someone with a similar problem. When I tried to install the package in my GOG version (choosing the correct UK language), the installer halts after the "applying preset" message, around 85% of the installation. I waited for one hour or so and nothing. Tried to install again (always running everything as adminitrator) and it always stops there.

Running the game it gives the message of "texture pack installed", but the installation seems incomplete anyway (for example, there is no "uninstaller"). Any suggestion? I downloaded the installer from here: http://www.moddb.com/mods/john-p/downloads/deus-ex-unified-texture-pack/#6066021

and using Win 7 64 bit.

Hey, thanks for the asnwer. I had red this tread (and several other) before and changed the entries, but just after the first unsucessful installation. Maybe that's the problem? But now all entries are fixed, and the installer keeps halting on the same point. Since the installation is not finished, the uninstall and cleaner executables are not created (and whatever other operations the installer does after the texture replacement).

Anyway, when I run direclty ibd_patcher.exe, it shows that all textures were replaced and in the beggining of the game they are working, I think. My fear was that missing textures would start to show up during gampelay, but hopefully not. The only problem then would be the lack of a uninstaller, but it's just a matter of manually cleaning the register afterwards.
