Can anyone play the game with dualshock4?

Dualshock 4 and X-input compatible controllers (Xbox ones) ARE compatible with the game. It shows that the game will recognize the controller as an Xbox one though, and you may not see the correct button prompts in-game.

Of course, there is always the chance that this varies from platform to platform, but it does seem like it will support the controller, just not the on-screen button configuration per say.

I've been using Dualshocks exclusively and it works for me. I use DS4 Windows though since most GOG games support only Xbox pads (and other native pc pads i guess but I own only 2 Ps4 and a Xbox pad)

It does not work for me unless I launch it from within Steam, but then the Galaxy tracking does not work - it does not update the "last played" counter (and I suppose neither the achievements).

Do I maybe need something installed for the Dualshock? I never needed it before.

edit: BTW I cannot use Dualshock in Life is Strange either unless launched from Steam.
