ok, so ive tired checking and unchecking dx 12, as well as maxed out and mid range graphics settings, but the issue persists.
the game can look grainy and show lines like a ghost overlaid on the char., most noteable when talking with them(see screens for examples).
i was wondering if anyone else had this problem, and if there is a fix for it.

(had to snip the pics a bit to get them to post, but the main point of them shoud still be easy enought to see)

I'm sorry, I know this is old but I wanted to clarify this if anyone cares. I noticed too that some faces become strangely low-res while talking; this always seems to be for minor characters, since I've never seen Jensen do it. I think it's probably just some bug or some technique to render it easier. I've only seen it on maybe two characters out of my five or so playthroughs of this game. Make sure motion blur, depth of field, etc. aren't the issue. I don't remember if the game has a film grain option, but that may be it if it does.

For the second image, that's not a ghost, she's just wearing a clear raincoat; that's why it's reflective and you can see the neck of the coat wrap over her collarbone.

Neither of these can be "fixed" as far as I know.

update: PCGW says the tessellation option is the problem. Turn that off and it should be fine.
