This how i got it to run without Crashes:
First oben the nGlide Configurator in the installation directory an set it up like this:
Video Backend: DirectX,
Resolution (you Desktop Resolution. 1900x1200 in my case),
Aspect Ratio: Preserve original,
Refreshrate: 60 Hz,
Vertical Syncronisation: Off,
Gamma Correction: 0.9,
3DFX Logo: Off
THEN open the Game and go to Options -> Video Settings
Detail Level: Custom
Resolution: 1024x768, 16bit
Target Framerate: 60 FPS
Allow slowdown: NONE
Then in Detail setting:
Car Lod: High
All options that offer ON or OFF settings to : ON
Head up Display: FULL
View distance as High as Possible ( 5000/5000 )
Sound channels: As much as Possible (16/16)
Audio Quality: High
Ai Cars: High
After that i had no Crashes anymore. I dont know exactly what solved it, but i persume its the LOD setting and Sound channels, but i only asume that.
