The game runs fine on Windows 10 without any modifications.

BUT... the mouse speed is very slow. Also increasing the speed in my control panel, it remains slow in game.

I can't be the only one with this issue. I have a regular logitech mouse, nothing fance. Also I never had problems with my mouse.


Besides that this game brings back so many childhood memories. I played this together with my brother all the time. :-)

Press Win key + R -> main.cpl -> press the Return key.
Switch to Zeigeroptionen tab -> deactivate Zeigerbeschleunigung verbessern.

Confirm the change, and close the window.

If the above doesn't do the trick you can also try and lower your mouse' polling rate setting. What I would recommend is to set it to a value of 500 Hz. I found that this setting works for most old games. Sometimes you would have to set it to 250 Hz whatever delivers the best result.
