I'm thinking of picking this up having owned it and played the first level on the PC many moons ago but now have a netbook. so am limited by the screen and lack of mouse.

It's not really about how fast you move your mouse, it's about how you execute your tactics so a mouse is not really required. As for screen size, the game is low-rez anyway so it shouldn't be that bothersome.

I would not recommend it on netbook. Firstly, this game does not support widescreen and you already loose some display area. Combined with already small screen... I do not think this would be fun to do. Secondly, at least for me a mouse is a must to have for this game as it is easy enough to screw up even using a mouse. Sometimes in this game you may have to scroll fast and click fast and with precision. So unless you are a tactics pro or touchpad (or how that thing on netbooks is called) pro you should consider using a mouse.

I've already purchased this and trust me, fast speed is not needed as you can preset commands in this game and then execute it in a single button. As for screensize, the game covers over my whole widescreen, sure it's a lil stretched but trust me, it's actually not that bad and I was very very surprised. Just take a screenshot of the game and stretch it and see for yourself.
Runs great. I prefer to play this on my 10" netbook than on my 22" monitor... not windowed mode is a pain in the ass.
