is there a way to change the resolution of Desperados 1?

nevermind this was a stupid question, i found the option to change the resolution -_-

i still think its kind of weird that you cant access the options screen until you go to start a game. i just assumed i would have to manually edit something like i usually do with gog games that dont fit my screen :/

Whenever I try to change resolution the game crashes, anyone knows how to get around this?
