After I start the game everything works fine until the end of the first conversation where you have to click to move.
At this point my screen freezes and eventually turns black and the game either stops responding or I can open the menu with "escape" and hear the buttons as I move my mouse over them, however I get no image.
Please post any ideas - I tried all graphics options and going to reinstall now.
My graphics cards are:
Integrated Intel® GMA HD
NVIDIA® GeForce® 310M with 1GB DDR3 VRAM
Other perhaps relevant specs:
Windows 7 64 bit service pack 1
Intel® Core™ i5
Intel HM55 Express Chipset
15.6" 16:9 HD (1366x768) Display
Will keep you guys posted.
Edit: Reinstalling did not solve... gonna try playing around with graphics settings and drivers while someone more knowledgable than myself assists :)
Edit 2: Also just installed Directx 2010 as instructed by the support pages and downloaded and reinstalled the game again - still the same problem. Going to try the user control settings, but it seems silly since the game starts normally until the end of the first dialogue.
