Just wondering, I managed to get the Vertigo Series expansion running on my install of D2 rebirth, as in it asks me whether to play Counterstrike or Vertigo when I start new game.

But I'm not sure if I installed the movie files for Vertigo correctly, as Counterstrike starts with a cinematic video, but Vertigo doesn't it just goes straight to briefing.

Just for me to confirm, does Vertigo Series have an opening cinematic before the first mission, or do they play later?

Vertigo doesn't have any movies, besides the robot animation screens where it tells u new robots, from the original disk. The original version is all just briefings, and also does not have a movie at the end.

It is worth noting that D1 was also the same way, but then got movies in the PS1 version. Some of the movies for D1 have been ported and used, but they didn't do the same for vertigo. If there are any movies, they're probably fan made, and I haven't seen any myself anywhere.

Yeah, no movies for Vertigo came from Descent I and II: The Definitive Collection I got.

Descent II, Descent 3, and Descent 3: Mercenary only have videos.
